her favorite food was Cheerios, baby carrots and Timothy hay...

she also used to have this stuffed rabbit she thought was real so she would groom it and play with it almost every day.

her name was "Bun Bun"

what's worse was i saw her go right in front of me.

At least she didn't go alone and knew you were there.

i had her cage in my room becaus she seemed lonely in the laundry room, then it started. we already knew she was sick so we watched her for a few days before taking her to the vet(to see if it would go away anytime soon) then that morning i noticed she was breathing harder and couldn't move her front left leg. i let her out of the cage for some exercise and she kept running towards and leaning against the couch. this worried me alot so i woke up my mom to come check it out, she picked her up to hold against herself like you would with a baby talking in a calm voice...

when put back in the cage she wouldn't move, that was the for certain hint that it was over, we were all very sad. that night we burried her in a box in the back yard with her stuffed bunny and her favorite blanket, over that spot we each planted a yellow flower over that spot. the burial was next to lucy's spot because they were great friends.

Always tough to lose a close pet, :tombstone: bun-bun.

Incidentally, when I read the title of your original post I'd assumed that you just learned that you were pregnant..

what does a gone rabbit have to do with pregnancy?

You watch MASH, you should know. Remember when they operated on Radar's rabbit to see if Margaret was pregnant?

oh yeah, but atleast in that episode that rabbit "didn't" die. that must've been hard for radar to say yes with the testing...

I can definitely sympathize. You saw the thread about my ferret that died the day before your rabbit. It's always hard losing pets.
sorry for your loss.

we lit a small white candle inbetween the flowers, though since it was windy the flame blew out minutes later, martialtheory, how could you keep replacing a pet when it dies, doesn't it make you sad to see another one just like it?
