OK, im setting up my live rock. How much space should I leave between the highest rock and the water line?

I am working with a 12g nano cube.

Aquascaping is one of the parts of this hobby that is mostly up to the aquarist. In a nano tank I would suggest 2-3 inches from the top so that you can put a small frag on top. But I have seen tanks that have the rock come out of the tank, and they looked good. Although they were in a larger tank. Just remember to allow room for flow and to clean the glass. The rest is up to you. When I first set up my 150, I changed the rock worka couple dozen times before I was happy with it. Hmmm now that rock would look better there. Well maybe not that happy yet:). Just experiment with it and when it looks right to you, then you are done. For awhile atleast.

Awesome, that sounds like what I did. The closest is about 2in from water line the next highest is about 3in. So it sounds like I should be in good shape. I just wanted to make sure I could throw something small on the rocks up high.

While im on the topic, even though I have a month or so before I need to worry about it. How do you stick frags on rocks?

Thanks
