Mafia 22 signup thread

Easy set up great for new players to get addicted to the games.

I'll take as many as want to play,need even numbers.

Heres the premise.

This will be a 50/50 split game. Only difference is that you have no idea who is on your team. There will be 1 power role for each team, the Hitman/Policeman. The bosses will investigate you and when found by your boss you will then be able to communicate with them.


Bosses- Mayor/Mafia You are the team leader, you just don't have a team yet. You will find your team by PMing/emailing me a name that you want looked at each game night.. This will either bring a team member to you for communicating purposes or show you they belong to the opposite team.You will only be told evil/innocent not if they are the boss or Hit/Police. If you die its game over and your team loses.



Hitman/Policeman - You work for your respective team and get 2 shots per game. The only catch is that you CAN NOT take your shot until you are found by the Boss of your team and start communicating. The shots can be taken at any time of day,just send me a PM/email. You might have to wait for me to see it as I might be at work but it could be a great way to take a vote off a player you want to protect. Only 1 shot per day/night cycle per role.

Order of events:

Nightly lynches
Boss Hit
Police/Hitman Hit (unless sent in for a daytime shot)


To vote - in bold I vote to lynch ***

If votes aren't retracted they stay on the original voter. Same rules as most games with UD. If you don't vote you die at night fall.

Pretty much. The Mayor and Policemen are PRs for the innocents and the Mafia Boss and Hitman are the bad guys. Everyone else is split up as mafia or innocent but are clueless to everyone else. If the Boss( of either team) investigates you then you can communicate with him. If he finds you and you're not on his team he has a target to hit or lynch.

I marked you as in. I don't know if the guys can wait that long before they start rioting but theres no real need to post 24/7. As long as you can post some and be around for nightfalls they shouldn't be to hard on you.

Really, it's a fun (slightly addicting) game were yu have two groups... usually a large one where no one knows who each other are and a small one that does know who each other are. The winner is the group that survives.

Read the rules. Ask LOTS of questions.

This is the best setup for a new player.

I will PM what side you belong to (mafia/innocent).It will be a 50/50 split.

2 players will be the Bosses, they will investigate other players to find out who is mafia or innocent. If the mafia boss finds another mafia player they can start communicating. You will know you have been found through a PM from me. Same for the innocent boss finding an innocent.
If they find a player of the opposite team then they have a target.

2 players are also going to have the power to take 2 shots at players. They can't take the shots until they have been found by their respective bosses.

The first day is always the hardest too, once (if) you make it through day one..it will be easier to understand.
Pretty much you try and find the ones that are on the bad side, if you are an innocent, if you are not..then you try and steer the innocents into thinking others are on the bad side.

As said before ask lots of questions if you need to, some question though you want to send to the mod and not on the game thread itself...like any questions about your role.
Read through some other games and see how they went, so maybe you can get a feel for the game.

Most important...DO NOT let what people say bother you, remember it is a game and ppl are going to say alot of things against you, call you a liar, say your twisting things, say you are saying things you really aren't. It is part of the play I know the first few times I was like what ever you are a jerk (thinking to myself), but you have to realize they are not truly against you as a person, just you in the game. HAVE THICK SKIN!!
