One of my buddies just got a 72 gallon bow front to replace his 75 standard. and guess what? okay you can't guess. he is giving it to me FREE!!! along with his canister once he gets his new one. the hard part will be breaking it to my wife. i had to beg for my 55. but i am going to sell my 55 set up so it shouldn't be to bad. by africans will be so happy?

I'd build a stand that can handle 2-3 tanks just in case you get more tanks in the future. I agree with rbishop on this and I find them convenient especially when you don't have to consume more space in your house for more tanks.

I would also stack them if space is the problem. You don't need much money to buy sand and rocks. I use play sand in my tanks (very cheap) and you can collect rocks almost anywhere. It would also help if you could find out what kind of fish she likes (if any) and try to work them into your stocking list.

indeed lol i was thinking that too. also why not keep the 55 and save some beer money for 3weeks and you are good to go. heck go to a nursery get rocks cheap. sand is cheap too :devil: if she still gets mad at ya go find your receipt for her lol:grinyes:

well i told my wife about it the other day and she shot it down saying why do you need a bigger tank. she shot the whole thing down. i would rather still have a house to sleep in then a 75 so i guess for right now i will just have to deal with it. i will just have to work on her for the bilt in 800 gallon reef tank i want once the kids are a little older.
