Converting salt to fresh water

I cant seem to fing the threads.

I looking to buy this tank and it has been a salt water tank but i want to use it as a fresh water is it hard to convert? is all you need to do is clean really good?

Its an Acrylic tank and also comes with wet/dry system would you reccomend getting new bio balls? its a 55Gallon.

Wipe the empty tank out with a washcloth and viniger and then rinse it out thoroughly along with all the equipment.
