I have a couple of them, maybe 10 years old, basically gentle giants. I can't keep Amano or other shrimp in with them - the cats don't eat them, they just spook them and the shrimp climb out of the tanks. They are crepuscular to nocturnal.

PS: it is S. ocellifer

To anyone without a pHd or vast experience like RTR,

crepuscular - means to be active only during the hour or so during dawn and dusk,

good luck
