found a show on snakeheads on national geographic channel interesting it is on now7:30pm eastern time

it shows how they are invading american fresh waters from idiots that released them
so if you catch one please kill it
they just put one in clove oil said it puts them to sleep
they also used electric probe too stun all the fish so they would float to surface non lethal

Clove oil is an anesthesia to fish. As with any anesthestic just overdose it and it will kill them. If done properly they simply go to sleep and don't wake up.

watched some of it...sad how some people have a complete disgregard for the law just to make some money selling illegal fish that destroy entire ecosystems...

Most aquarium fish released into non-native waters will be destructive to some degree. Post-Katrina, there's an out of control population of texas cichlids, paradise fish, and apple snails within 10 miles of my house.

Haha, I wouldnt mind having my waterways invaded with cichlids. That would be so cool....So much better than carp.
