HI everyone
I have been keeping tropical fish for about 2 years now and have just got a bigger tank for chrismas which is cycling at the moment, i'm looking forward to posting here and making some new freinds.

greetings! Congrats on another tank!
to speed up cycling - I just do water change on the one and dump the old water in the new tank - then top off both tanks with fresh water.
Actually; on the new 90 gallon I even took the canister filter off the 28 and ran it in the 90 to make sure the bio wheels were nicely covered in all that good stuff!

Thankyou all for the welcome everyone is so freindly here! and thanks aquariumfish for the good advice i'd already run the filter in my old tank for a couple of weeks to help start things off in the new tank (with the already running filter) and have slowly added a few of my fish over the last week and so far everything is running at the right levels! so hopefully this will remain like this over the next couple of weeks!!
