a question about foamy bubbles

Hey everybody!
I just set up my new tank, and got a new filter, gravel, heater, and air pumps washed out everthing nice and thoroughly and intriduced my fish, 2 columbian catfish sharks, and a violet goby. im on day 2 and noticed the water seems a bit hazy and foamy bubbles that seem to linger around the top have developed. Is my filter not working? or do I need a water change?

i get this when my filter is clogged up... the same amount of air still pumps through with way less water. i would rinse off your mechanical filtration sponge with dechlorinated water. there was prob just alot of gunk floating around the water and you won't have to rinse it so much once things settle.

also probably worth mentioning.. sounds like you stocked way too fast. i would go get some biospira and a test kit ASAP since your tank hasn't had time to cycle.
