Hi Friends !

Just wanted to request you for some advice. Actually I have bought a new Tank of the dimensions - 85 CM (L) x 65 CM (H) x 45 CM (W)

I just wanted to request you to kindly suggest if I can add these beauties http://animal-world.com/encyclo/fresh/cichlid/bluemoorii.php the Blue Dolphin Fish with my current 4 Red Parrots (which are about 3 inches in length)

Kindly help me decide friends :)

No, they have different water quality requirements. Also, they get to be 10" long, so too big for your tank anyway.

If you are talking about the red blood parrots then i would say your tank (ie a 65 gallon) is fully stocked and possibly overstocked. and i do believe they can grow to 8" or more. I had one that was 7" before i gave him away. and yes they have different water parameters

4 in a 65 is pretty tight. BP's are messy and grow pretty large as bullseye said. they are also fairly territorial. adding anything wouldnt be the best idea, much less another territorial cichlid.
