Ok I have a pair of Crtptoheros septumfasciatus and they lay eggs about 2 times a week. But there is a problem about 3 days after they lay eggs they all turn white and then about 2 days after they turned white they vanish. I am assuming the parents eat them. I am wondering how I can keep the eggs from going bad. Any help would be appreciated.

when the eggs turn white, that means that they have not been fertilized.
are you sure the pair is male/female? sometimes two females will lay eggs together.

I thought that when eggs turn white this could also be because of a fungus that was growing on them.

my female lays eggs a lot, they also turn white, she has no male to fertilize them ( well now she may I put a male in with her)
