Just got my February 2008 TFH in the mail last week and saw the article on plastic plants. I thought it interesting and was amazed at the pictures.
What do you all think?

I'm not a fan of plastic plants. They are getting very nice, it's just not my thing.

plastic plants also don't really help the water like real ones do...

They have their place. It all depends on what kinds of fish you plan to keep with them or whether or not you want to deal with lighting/ferts/CO2.

I started with plastic like alot of folks, spent a bunch of money, and they all ended up in the garbage :grinyes:
They're not to my taste but they're useful for pacus, silver dollars, scats and other herbivores.:)

I made the decision to get rid of my large silver dollars , balas, and loaches in order to switch to live plants. Getting over the fish was no problem, I love the live plant tanks better.:grinyes:
