I've had a 1.5 gallon starter tank for a year or so with guppies and a mystery snail (which turned into about 100 snails, no mystery there). We inherited a 20 gallon tank over Christmas and have just begun filling it. We've migrated the guppies and picked up a trio of neon tetras.
I found this forum because we also picked up an African Dwarf Frog and unfortunately it didn't make it. We thought maybe it was just bum luck so picked up a second and unfortunately he had the same issues and only lasted a couple days. I found a few articles here about issues with water quality, overpowered filters and trouble feeding them (even though we tried both frozen bloodworms and sinking frog food as recommended by the pet shop :wall
. So I'm hoping to learn a lot from all of you before making another trip and giving another frog a shot.
