i was playn ps3 when i looked over at my tank my my angels were spawning! it was pretty cool to watch! it a 29 gallon and its has three angels, should i remove the third angel?

can't wait to see the fry! make sure it is a male and female pair.

a third angel in a tank of only 29 gallons will get beaten up pretty badly by the pair. corydoras can be successfully be kept with a pair of angles as long as there are plenty of hiding places for them. it may be a better idea to have a barebottom tank for easier maintinence.

a little update, i removed the other angel. the two are the only fish in the tank. most of the eggs turned white, so im guessing that they will eat them soon! at least i know i have a pair, maybe babys one day! (too bad my discus wont spawn!)

You have a pair in that you have 2. They could both be females if the eggs continue unviable after several spawnings. Save the other fish, although if these are 2 females it probably is also. Hopefully you get a viable pair here. Good luck.

it may tanke them a few 'tries' to get it right. if after a few spawns you don't get 'viable' egs you can exercise some options.(keep that other angel just in case but put it in another tank.)

i just moved the other one to another tank, its still around. im pretty sure they are male/female. the male is much larger and preformed like i would think a male fish would do with the eggs. :perv: i gave them a piece of slate, should i lay it flat, tilted or str8 up and down?

I always put the slate on a slight angle against the side or back of the tank. They always ignored it and continued to either spawn on large plant leaves or the filter intake tube!
