Just added white skrirt Tetras...Kinda Takin Over??

I have a 29 gallon with six red eye tetras and i just added four white skirt tetras and i thought that they would do great together but it seems that the red eye tetras are hinding in their own spots like their own territory and the white skirts are just roaming around everywhere is this normal ...>.? thanx let me know anything

I have 3 red eyes with 6 serpae, 4 neon, 2 rummynose, and a lemon tetra and the red eyes are usually always hideing, except when I drop some blood worms in.

yep same here when its food time there like right there at the top waiting for it ... but other than that at night there off in their own spots thanx

Yea, someone else here said that their red eyes do the same thing.
