Looking for a freshwater prawn/shrimp that can reach at least 3 inches in length and can complete its entire breeding cycle in freshwater. Macrobrachium Amazonicum might be a possibility but some articles indicate that it does need brackish water while some articles indicate that it does not…not so clear for this species..
It does appear that the Macrobrachium Nipponense can complete its lifecycle entirely in freshwater but I am not sure where I can find any to experiment with..
