Quick stupid question.... I have a 4" albino chocolate pleco that is in a tank too small for him, I have a 55 I want to put him into but it has a sand substrate - is that okay? Oh yeah, the 55 has clowns and rainbows by the way.

I have always kept plecos with sand. No problems. Although they sometimes eat some while eating algae disks or whatever, but it comes out with everything else.

your question is not stupid until your reply-ers say it is. ;)
there is NO such thing as a stupid question..... the stupid one is the one that's unasked and causes problems or deaths.
as far as i know that sounds like it would work.
