i set up my new tank yesterday about 24hours ago and when it was done being filled i stired up the sand a little to get rid of air bubbles and such. since then my tank has been really cloudy. i have a eheim 2217 cannister filter running. how can i quick up the cloudyness and how long will it take.

This can take anywhere from a day to three or so days to fully clear...just keep cleaning the silt out of the filter media, and all will be good..
