Well I got a lot of pics. Some of my porcupine puffer, that is in QT and had a great recovery from velvet. Others are of my fish and my new aquascaping. Here's the pics:

what kind treatment did you use to treat the velvet?

What kind of angels is that? (a lot of juvies start out looking just like that)

It's pomacanthus imperator, if I'm not mistaken. I've been told that the circular patterns on the dorsal are a dead giveaway.

Yeah it's an emperor angelfish. it's wierd becuase I can tell the difference between a juvinile emperor and a juvinile koran angelfish, and a lady at the store I bought it from was calling it a koran angelfish.

to treat the velvet I turned off my lights for a week, raised the temperature to low 80's, and added some parasite off medication(it was puffer safe, a lady used it on her puffer).

If you got the imperator at the koran price, then you got a killer deal imo... the imperators tend to sell for a bit more, at least around here.:)

Yeah I think it was labeled emperor, idk. I heard a lady that thought she knew it all and gave people lectures about the fish they wanted while they waited to pick out there fish. It was a huge half off sale so I got my porcupine puffer and juvinille emperor angelfish for 60$.

ah yes I see the diffrence now (never really paid attention to it) and 60 bucks isnt a bad deal at all on the two.
