Does anybody ever raise sponges?

The big type, tube ones?

I see posts periodically about some sponge but it is never the bigger tube ones and I have not seen any pics of the colorful large ones.

Where do you get them? What do they need to flourish?

Anybody have experience with sponge?
 
ive seen like, really cool orange ones, that are shaped like a paddle kinda.

those are neat.
 
I have sponge it came off this piece of lr , it sits underneath my mh light its purple in color, i see little tubes pooking here and there but nothing extravegant. Not really trying to grow it as its growing on the rock where my kenya tree moster colony sits ontop of. Right now most of the rock about 14-16" across is covered in sponge I guess I need to get an angel and have him eat it.
 
Maybe that is why not many peeps have big sponge colonies, their fish eat them.

I have this which I guess is a sponge, it is slow growing, but it does grow. If I could find out what it needs to grow faster I might try it. But as it is I will leave well enough alone.
