looking at blastos how are they do they over take a tank what are good colors to get they look like about the 50 dollar range is this about right.

anything else you guys like looking for things that wont overtake a 12 gallon.

I have trumpet ,zoas, a ric and a shroom.
 
blastos are one of my favorites and they definatly dont takeover a tank. Get which ever colors you like.
what do you have for lighting? Do you have one of the all-in-one setups like the nano or biocube or the aquapod?
a hammer is also a good choice.
 
I have a hammer, when its fully open it is maybe 4" across (2 heads). Its very pretty. Blastos are pretty slow growing, for me at least. I bought a small frag with about 3 small polyps on it for $20 about 4 months ago. It now has about 7-8 polyps, so its basically covering the little plug it came on but hasn't spread off the rocks yet. $50 may or may not be a good deal depending on the size of the frag.
 
One thing I can tell you, is they don't like too much light.
