how mant parrot fish can you keep together ?my parrot is a mean little thig but over tha last few weeks i have wanted 1 more or a couple more ?
At the moment i got a 1 parrot fish 1 tinfoilbarb 2 plecos (common) and i got loads of room in my tank since my arowana died , i also wanted to get another barb and somthing else to add a bit of bright coulour in my tank could you give me some advice ?
thank you

What size is the tank? Parrots have various personalities so if yours is really mean, I'd suggest keeping a close watch if you want to try another parrot with it. If everything fails, then either replace the parrot or simply stick with one parrot.

Tinfoil barbs are schooling fish so obviously, they'd do best if kept in a group of 6 or more. These can reach 12 inches and more so they need plenty of space. Silver dollars are, in my opinion, much better than tinfoil barbs as they are smaller than the latter.

Your tinfoil barb could potentially outgrow the tank, how long have you had it? What are the dimensions on your tank? I wouldn't recommend adding another barb unless you plan on moving them in the future.

The plecos will really get a bit big for it too.

Just with tank size itself you could have several parrots assuming yours will tolerate others, but the other fish might dictate what you should keep in it since you don't mention a plan to move them in the future.

Didn't you have a thread about your parrot attacking your arowana? Not to mention your pleco is 11"?

I think if you are set on more parrots, get rid of the one you have and get a new trio of them. And find a new home for the pleco.
