Has any body tried using C02 Natural Plant System from the company Nutrafin?? I just picked it up from Petland for $29.99 and set it up. Just curious...

I'd like to see it. Do you have a link for it?

I just set it up 3 days ago for my 10 gallon. I paid the same amount as you. It up until this morning to run smoothly... right now I'm getting a bubble every 6 seconds and the almost completely dissolve. I'm happy with it so far except later I'm not going to use the "activator and stabilizer" packets, because they are just baking soda and yeast (I will use these when the packets run out.)

How is it actually suppose to work? Mine the bubbles sort of clump together like half way up and stop. Then eventually the bubble makes it way to the top and releases. Is this how it is suppose to work or is this just what it does when you first set it up? Mine bubbles about every 10 seconds I would say.

For some reason the first days of running this are "sticky" the bubbles eventually behave and roll up the ramp properly. By the 3rd packet that won't happen at all. I've had that stickiness return after bleaching the diffuser to get rid of algae.
Now, after many, many months of using it with a DIY mix, I think I may need to clean the canister better. It isn't lasting as long as it used to, either the thing is leaking or I may have some bacteria started that needs to have a boiling water rinse to get rid of it. I've been just rinsing with hot water. I may try vinegar or boiling water next time.

Thanks for the info anonapersona. Does the bleaching get rid of the sticking? How well has this product actually helped your plants? My hopes really aren't set to high for it since it was so cheap. What is your DIY mix?
