When I say mess with there tank I mean things like Removing bits of nusiance algae from powerheads or sucking our red slime cyano etc. And testing things such as calicum nitrates etc? Does anybody do that daily weekly or just when they think about it? Im still figuring the whole salt thing out and im curious about others schedules and such.

Depends on what needs to be done. I do a water change weekly on the 2 established tanks and top offs daily. I'll clean the powerheads if they need it. I'll run the magnetic thing across the glass when needed - every couple of days. parameters have been stable so I rarely test for the basics unless something goes wrong (like a dead fish, sick fish, etc.) and an occasional test of calcium. There's not a lot of maintenance for me nowadays. I know my systems fairly well.

Same here Mandy. I only do a water change once every 2 weeks on my 55 gallon cichlid tank but I test my SW tank every other day because I am still new to SW. I also have been messing with my SW alot because I am upgrading equipment or adding CUC etc.

I do weekly water changes on all my tanks, especially my colomeus puffer tank, 50% weekly as they are messy little eaters

Same here. Weekly WC, clean glass and PW when needed. Check my levels once a week too. Top off water everyother day.

I probably asked this already but any problems with his teeth yet?

None at the moment, had them about 9 months now

Edit- they have become more aggresive, they were sharing with 3 female/2 male cherry barbs and cory. Only one 1 male 1 female cherry barb remaining!
