Besides the color and the slight difference in the amount of nutrients. Is there any difference between the black,dark, regular,red? How long do the nutrients last? Can they be used under regular gravel?

no. flourite doesnt have nutrients per say. its more like trace elements.

they should be the same. only difference is color. you only have to buy it once. it will be good forever. well one person said 20+ years i think.....
