An update on my cycling process I put a small amount of gravel from my 29 gallon tank and Biozyme and it is has been two weeks. The Black Neon tetras are still doing ok. The ph is 6.6, nitrates 0, ammonia is now 0, but my nitrites are 1.0. What now? Do I continue on testing or do I treat the water for nitrites: I feed the fish a small amount daily.

Do water changes until nitrites is below 0.25. Nitrites is very dangerous for the fish.

I agree.
do water changes to lower nitrites.
if you have more media available you may try adding that.
or squeeze crud from a good filter into the new filter(if the source is good and reliable-no pathogens)
