Specifics of the photograph and tank
This is the briareus octopus that lives in a 50gallon box in my room. I call him Fluffy. Hes a wonderfull little octo :D. His hobbies include digging, watching TV, and making me worrie. This picture was taken with a Canon PowerShot A570 IS 7.1. I used the macro mode and iso 20 or 40.

his head is 4-5 inches long depending on his pose. his arms all seem to be different sizes but id estimate his longest to be 28" when he streaches it out.

I didn't even know you could just...you know, keep an octopus! I'm in shock, which is compounded by my immense desire to now have one. They are by far my favorite animal, and yours is gorgeous! It looks like he's dancing. Give him a special treat for me :)
