well i put the eggs in on jan 9 at 9:00 and they still haven't hatched.the instructions said they would hatch in a few hours to a few a days well its been both.how do you tell if there still alive?and do i need to redry the peat and use later?these are the annual killifish so i thought they would be easy since they just grow in little masses of water

Here is a link about the killi's you purchased, not sure if this is who you purchased them from. It includes pictures so you can see what the eggs should look like right before they hatch. The eggs should look translucent with a very faint tannish color. I would say if the eggs look white or you see fungus on them they are no good.
