Good online retailers?

In order to get better prices at my LFS, I have been looking up items online and comparing. If I find a better deal online, I print off pages and get them to price match.

So, I've found a few online stores, including a few that actually have peppermint shrimp in stock (LFS can't get them in, they put them on the order sheet but never get any in their shipments), so I might have to actually order online. =\

saltwaterfish.com <-- Good or not? They have peppermint's in stock, but I only need 3, not 5. :( Good price though! Are they a quality retailer though?

petsolutions.com <-- Not a lot of stuff, but is it quality?

Any other online stores to recommend that I can add to my bookmarks? Help would be appreciated here. =\

If I owned a LFS (specially a Mom & Pop store) I wouldn't price match on livestock. By the time you (the consumer) pay the shipping on the livestock and the hassle of making sure you are home to receive them, you invest a lot more in the fish then if you go to your LFS and pay the price they are asking. Also, at the LFS you actually see the fish you are taking, you can observe them, and check them out for diseases, and not worry about the shipping being stressful.
I say pony up the couple extra bones to support the LFS rather then nickel and dime them into matching some place that you have no intent on buying from.

That being said...I personally have only bought from a guy who does FW plecos and angels on-line. So I cant really recommend any SW on-line retailers.

maybe liveaquaria.com?

I haven't purchased any livestock from them (so I can't vouch for it), although I have heard good things and they do have a guarantee (14 days I think?)

But I did get my live rock through them and was extemely pleased with the quality.

It looks like they have peppermint shrimp for $5.99 each

I love my LFS, it's a great place, but they are really small, and so far, haven't been able to even special order certain fish or crabs for me. :( They have a very limited number of fish they can order, so it kinda sucks.

I may just go out of town (like to a real city) and buy fish supplies from a reef and saltwater specialty FS.

They only pricematch the cost of the fish plus shipping.

I agree, I don't expect brick and mortar stores to pricematch with an online only entity. It isn't far to expect them to match the cost of someone with a lower overhead especially considering how much personal one on one time a local store can give me.
