Can you put a group of Copepods in your aquarium? Will they survive and breed? Or should I set up another tank for this. Any info will help. Thanks

They eat algae, and will get filtered out by mechanical filtration systems.

With algae or plankton in your tank, they should feed and reproduce. :)

I raise pods in my refugium.

some actually survive in the main tank wedged into rocks.

My pods thrive in my refugium. They then travel to the main DT and get eaten by my Mandarin! =)

Could you show me some pictures of your refugium?

My refugium is in the middle of my sump setup which is part of a 20L. I just have some chaeto/rock rubble/etc. I will try to get a picture of it later, not to much to see though. =)

Yes if you give them a place to hide such a pile of rubble. With that said though I'd recommend a refugium and a healthy ball of chaeto if you are wanting to supply enough to feed a dragonette or other pod eating machine such as seahorses.
