Pretty sweet looking. The Gold nugget loves it. He is all over the place, unfortunanly i would need a $5,000 lens just to able to get some shots of him in this lighting.

Cost a total of $8.00 since i had a old ac/dc plug-in laying around.

Also something weird, the cathode on the right seems like it is activiting the entire bulb inside the right hood. you can see how the plants on the right look brighter and whiter. the one in the hood on the left only activates the right side the fluorescent bulb. Weird.

Very Nice. What kind of substrate is that?

I think I would get a headache if looking at the tank with the red lights on, for very on. Nice looking tank though. However, those stacked rocks do not make me feel comfortable...lol.

Funny how we are thinking the same, rbishop. I often get headache just looking at tanks in dark lighting.

Nice tank but the rock structure is really making me paranoid.

Is there any advantage to having red light over blue light, or the other way around?

Most rock structures like that make me nervous - always curious if the owner used silicon or something else to secure the thing. I can see those rocks falling and crashing through the tank - but maybe I'm just paranoid.

the substrate is play sand.

and the rock structure is not going anywhere.

i made sure every rock is firmly in place. i would need a 12" pleco or something similar in order to knock the rocks down.
