Acei Spawn and My Tank

that was awsome!! I love the purple and yellow fish, what are they? I can not believe you have such a mixture, I wish I had a tank so lively!!
 
Those are the Acei's. The two larger ones are the parents, and they had about 13 fry that survived through the tank. Its nice to see them school: I've never had fish that schooled, since I have always kept cichlids.
 
Alot of people criticize the mixture of S. American Cichlids and Africans, but I have always done it with good luck: love convicts, severums, and labs and aceis. For me, convicts fill the need for a black and white striped fish, without getting a frontosa which get too large.

Yes, you may not have run into problems yet, but your fish are still young.
 
Sharp, but the odds are that you may have some issues down the road..it would be nice though if you didn't. I think it will start with the arautus and then the balas.
