i have two zebra danios a smaller one and a larger one.well the smaller one chases the other one around the tank and when he catches to the other danio they start going in a circler motion.Does anyone know why they do this?they dont it all the time it seems after meals they do it the most and they aren't nipping each other.so any thoughts?

they mate like crazy. do they rush into plants when they go in circles? mine do it and dont stop laying eggs. the cories welcome this morning meal. every morning right when they lights go on, all 6 go into a frenzy and mate everywhere. when my plants get thicker im sure ill see some nice babies. the larger one you have is most likely the female. is she fatter? usually when she fills with eggs she will be fat and sometimes even chase the male like a game of tag.

yup and they will easily eat their own young so cories or not, they are food. if you want to breed them the best thing to do is get some java moss and leave it on the bottom for 3 days. then remove the fish. in a few days you will see babies. colect them and feed them. they are tiny though.

My neons do that if there's something wrong with the parems. A tight circle slowing growing smaller, but I think it's 2 males, as their top fin is black and stuck into the are while they "dance". They also just do it randomly sometimes, no matter the parems.
