Hi friends !
I have these 2 innocent scats about 3" which are very healthy and active but the problem is that they're a little shy and the other fish finish off the food as soon as I feed them and the scats dont seem to get any food atall !
Please help me - what should I do ? Kindly advice...
Regards
Kush

id target feed? try to get it to them. and maybe feed in diffrent spot. I put flake for my toppers on top and my middle feeders i put the flake at the HOB output to flow down to the middle.
If these are still young, you need to keep in them in a group. These are naturally shy especially when kept in lesser numbers. These will eventually grow too large for most average home aquaria and will need increasing salinity as they mature. Make sure all tankmates can handle the increased salinity and the tank size should be 75g minimum for a group of 4-6.
Kush, feed them veggies and avoid too much proteins for this fish which means no meaty foods for them.

Mine eat right out of my fingers. I feed freeze dried krill, flake, shrimp pellets, algea wafers, frozen clams scallops and shimp .I keep 3 and they are great with each other. I also give them a leaf of lettuce ever other day. The other fish in my aquarium could care less about the lettuce, but the scats will make it dissappear in no time at all.
