Any (Marineland)System 12 owner out there. Filter Question

I just started up my sytem up two days ago and now that the filter has settled in it appear that the water flows over the filter where as in the beginning it kinda went thru it. It was like raised a little bit in the middle. Anyway the BIO-Wheel is working great moving very well. Any input would be great.

Sounds normal to me. I have three myself. What specifically did you need to know??

He wants to know if it is normal for the water to flow "around" the bio wheel instead of through it. I don't know the answer myself.... :)

I see. This sounds perfectly normal. Water will only flow past the bottom of the wheel, not over it. The water should go past the bio-wheel enough to turn it. As long as the wheel is turning, everything is functioning properly.

When it first started the water flowed thru the Blue filter the filter was raisd alittle bit & now that it's settled in it flows over the blue filter. MarineLand said it's normal now that it's filtering the water adn taken in various water products. Thanks to all
