can snails n hermit crabs reproduce in captive tanks?

Certainly not together!

Snails, however, will reproduce at will if the conditions are right.

Not so sure about Hermits, I haven't had them long enough for them to start proposing and marrying and such.

Yes, and they do so quite often, but only those species that either brood their eggs or have very short larval stages will stand a good chance of surviving an aquarium's filtration. larvae food sources also play a role. yes. and if you get too many Nerites snails send some here lol

my turbo snail have babies all the time. they usually get eaten though! haven't seen any hermit babies.
