I picked up two 25 gallon tanks from my local petsmart, since they were downsizing their tanks.

All I really want is to know a good way to get sticky substances off acrylic without scratching it. They had stickers on the tanks. The tanks are a little scratched, but they should hold water. I'm using them in the basement so appearance isn't too important, but I really would like the sticky stuff off.

Thanks for any responses.

Try using warm water and viniger on a washcloth. I did that when I got my tank months ago and with some force, I got all the glue off. Also, rub the whole tank down too with the washcloth, it will help get all of the dust and other crapola out.
