for 29g you can use 2L or 2 2L bottles thats all up to you. The mix would be for 2L bottle 1-2 cups of sugar, 1/4 -1/2 teaspoons of yeast, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix it all up in warm water. For a diffuser you can use a simple wooden airstone and place it directly under your filters overflow.

i dont do it by cups.. So just fill up the 2L bottle to the point where it starts to curve on top. Then pour the sugar try using 1.5 cups first since this is your first mixture. Then close the bottle and mix it very good until no sugar grains are seen. Then pour out some of the mixture into a cup and put 1/4-1/2 teaspoons of yeast and mix it. Let it sit in the cup for 15-20 min to hydrate. then pour the sugar/yeast mix back into the bottle. Mix again and wait until it starts bubbling.

You will just need to store the bottle in a safe, warm place.

Ok thanks i will do.i have already put the c02 to work.I'm hoping the c02 starts working soon.i don't have to worry about c02 die for my fish as i don't have them in there yet so i have time to tinker with it.thanks all
it will start working by tomorrow. After a few days or so monitor your pH, you might see a slight change with only 1 2L bottle. And when you get the fish acclimate them for a longer period of time.
