:iagree: I have hair grass in all my tanks and it takes a while to get going. Lights and co2 are the key to get it growing well. Once it has carpeted the bottom I find you can cut back on the light but without co2 it doesn't grow all the fast at all. If you want to use root tabs, try "Jobe's Plant Food Spikes" for Ferns & Palms 16-2-6. They are a lot cheaper than aquarium root tabs and work fine.ferts are one key. root tabs might help. more light co2 and ferts going to speed it up.
just give it time i think its your best bet.
