Great shrimp, received my order today, superfast shipping. Thanks again.
How red do are they when fully grown?

Depends on their environment, I have found. My shrimp in tanks with dark substrate and alot of tannins are a deep vibrant red, the ones in tanks with less tannins and a light substrate are paler and more speckled in appearance although still noticeably red.

everyone was looking perfect when I got them!! The are going to town on the java moss in the tank and loving life. I always have trouble seening them but as soon as I put them in the tank after acclimation, they are all lined up eating away! Thanks so much Jinkz, there have been no casualties with your perfect wrapping/packing! You have a knack of shipping you know!! beautiful job!

makes me curious why some have yellow eggs and some have green. I've noticed the same colors under the shells of some of my cherries, some have a yellow bit under the shell and some have a greenishblue bit under the shell... they're not carrying eggs though

I ordered some shrimp last week and they arrived very active and happy. The heat pack was still really warm. Job well done!
They get to have their own tank this time. ;)

Are you referring to females with ripe ovaries that most call the "saddle"?

Jinkz..... if I pay today for some shrimp can you wait a month? I have guppy fry coming Tuesday and I have to hospital them for 30 days before adding them to the main tank of cories. I love my shrimp, but I do not want to have to subject them to meds ( salt) again if the fry come with any problems. Also 1 month it will be warmer :)
if this is ok, I will send money today when I recieve your paypal email :)
Also my eyes are not to good, I have have sucked some of the ones I got before because they were so small. my eyes are bad so I need to have color on them if possible. there hard for me to see with out a magnifying glass. oye being old!

Hey Granny, will pm. The reason they are usually shipped when so small is that it makes it easier for them to acclimate to variable tank conditions (ph, etc). I would certainly be willing to ship you larger ones, but its a risk that you could have a die-off/difficult time with them acclimating. I certainly don't foresee running out of cherry shrimp very soon, most of what I have now are pretty small (1/4") or mature, not much in between.

thats cool, my water is hard, and when I return the fry to the big tank, these shrimp will have a clean and healthy tank to go in. I have a hard time seeing them, but will do fine once I clean the tank ( gravel vac and get it primed and ready for your little guys.this way I will not suck up small once I did not see  so I will let them grow and get red before I do a comple gravel vac again. I think I did that when I first got some, I see 5 but not the 8 I got :( I like to try and buy from several folks to give buisness to as many as I can :)
