Hey gang. Now that my 46 gal is up and running, I'm going to put shrimp in my 10 gal and make it a shrimp only tank. Any idea how many of the little guys ( and girls ) I can (should) keep in there ? I have an Emperor 100 filter on the tank. Thanx for any and all advice.

what kind of shrimp? cherry shrimp? if its dwarf shrimp you are thinking of then 100 can live in a 10g comfortably. Since they reproduce so readily, you may want to consider understocking it initially. Also, make sure to cover your intake with sponge to protect your little shrimp.

I would say start out with 10-20 shrimp and let the population grow naturally. Most Dwarf Shrimp will expand their population rather rapidly.
