Most of you may know me from the GCC forum and there has been much skepticism that i even have fish.. here is a picture of my 10 gallon planted tank..

Ive changed it around a bit (old picture).. My RCC total distroyed my Java ferns.. My ludwiga like many have experenced, the stems started to rot.. Thx to many in this forum, now i know why :)

P.S. The plants i have behind that ludwiga.. What is that?? I got these plants from Petco. THey never name their plants. What is it called? i have noticed it is quite a slow and never seems to root in the substrate

It's crying out for a centrepiece, like a piece of driftwood or a large rock or group of rocks.

i agree. it's probably some driftwood with some moss + ferns. but those wood at LFS pretty expensive. anyone know the estimate price for a small peice for my 10?

My friend got a small piece of drift wood for his 10g tank and I think it was $10. It has the slate drilled into the bottom of it.

CB, do you have any books by Takashi Amano? Especially Aquairum World 1. In that book it tells you to place eye-catchers in the sweet spot, the area about 3/5 of the left or right of the tank, and about 3/5 from the top. It gives balance without being too rigorous.
