:help:Wanted: Weird Freaky type of fish to raise. :help:

I used to have Red Belly Piranhas, which have recent been made illegal in my state.
Of course – I no longer have them and am looking for something new.
I’ve got a few 135 gallon tanks, that are looking for new residents !

I prefer some freakish South American fish – if possible
I will however consider anything – as long as the price is not outrageous.
I am retired now with a fixed income – so I can’t go too outlandish.

Examples:
Saber Tooth Tetras – (Payara)
Sting Rays - smaller
Arrowana - (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum)
Alligator Gar (Atractosteus Spatula)
African Tiger Fish - (Hydrocynus Goliath)
Dorado - (salminus maxillosus)
Red Tail Barracuda - (Acestrorhynchus falcatus)
Barracuda Hujeta - ( Ctenolucius Hujeta)
Freshwater Mussels & larger clams
Plecos & Puffers
Various Plants – with roots !
Snails – Apple, Mystery, Trumpet, Ramhorns, etc., etc.

Please PM or email me at < bigdog_ct@hotmail.com (bigdog_ct@hotmail.com) >

Let me know what you have and How much?
Phone numbers are OK, I’ll call you back in the early evening
PayPal preferred

Nothing to sell, I just thought that it was funny that Piranhas were illegal in Conneticut.

The DEP said
"You must turn them in to us, so they can be destroyed"
Under penalty of Confiscation & Destruction and $500.00 fine per fish.
Special permits are only given for "public" displays

Yeah Right !!!!!!!!!!
You'll take them when you pry them from my cold dead hands. :grinyes:
My babies are safe in a new Boston home.
(Which BTW - are illegal now too)

Our "great" government :wall:
Picking on poor defenseless fish........
Heck - they were 100% legal to own when purchased 2 years ago.

Personally, I don't keep them. But it is so cold in Conn or Boston, that if they got loose, there is no way that they would survive.
