I'm moving in a few days, and going by air. My chosen airline did allow live animals in the cabin, but they hadn't updated their website, which did state that fish, small reptiles and amphibians were allowed in the cabin. I was going to carry them on and pay a small fee, but with the new rules, they have to be carried in cargo, and I can't afford the $150 live animal cargo fees. Plus, that's a lot to pay for some animals that will probably be dead by the time the plane lands.
I'm sad to do this, because I love my little guys, but I'd rather see them rehomed than die due to stress in the cargo hold of an airplane. They're still small, less than 1-1/2 inches each.
So, if you live in the Seattle Tacoma area, close to Federal Way, I am giving away:
The betta is in a small one gallon tabletop tank with undergravel filter, air pump and stone, and some java moss.
The toads are in a ten gallon 50/50 setup with an internal filter creating a waterfall, and a heat pad.
If you're interested, you'll have to pick up, as I don't have a working vehicle right now
email me if you're interested thrtst@gmail.com. Thanks!
