Can you keep Bolivian Rams with German Blue Rams?
Yes, it's possible. I did this before with no issues as long as plenty of space and territories is permitted.:)

I agree with lupin.
yes they can be kept together.
keep in mind they both occupy the same level of the tank so provided adequate cover.
Bolivian(Altispinosa) and the Blue(Ramirezi) do have a bit different temp requirement..but they can exist with the tank temp in the upper end of the Bolivian's temp range.
both will benefit from the 'pristine' water the Blue Ram thrives in.

Could you be a little bit more specific as to the proper amount of space Lupy? "Plenty" is not something we all seem to agree upon. ;)

Depends on how many Rams you want. I would say 4 feet of tank would be a good start for say 8 of them. But if you were going with a 30 gallon you would have to cut back on the number of Rams

8 in a 4' ..maybe for juvenile rams..but if you get pairs..this could be problematic;)
then mix Blues with Bolivians...

Since we are on the topic of Rams, I have 3 gold rams in my 65Gl tank they are going great, at one point I added a pair of GBRs and they didn't do as well after about 2 months they died.
Are the Bolivians a little tougher and easier to keep?
Bolivians are alot easier to keep. They are alot less sensitive to the water conditions

Even then, if there is enough rock work and plants he should be OK...
