I'm researching power heads and came across a brand I know nothing about. Zoo Med Aquatic Power Sweep Power Heads. They have a rotating head and seem to be effective. But I don't know how well made they are or if they hold up.
Does anyone have any knowledge or history with these and if so what was your experience?

I've never used that style of powerhead before, but most people I've talked to about them seem to say they freeze up and stop rotating after a while.

Ok, I'm also looking at either a Hagen 402 or Fluval 2 Plus or 3 Plus. Any experience and/or feedback on either of those?

I used a couple of aquaclear 402 for an UGF on a 200gallon tank a few years back. Worked flawlessly for years. I unpacked them a few months ago (after years of collecting dust) and they still work great.

I didn't know that Hagen made Aqua Clears......that simplifies it a bit.....I've used Aqua Clear hang on the back filters for years and love them. I've also used Fluvals for years with exellent results. More opinions please.
