Tank has 10 cardinals, 8 pygmy cories, 3 dwarf puffers (believe it or not they are fine in there) and 2 sparkling gouramies.

That's a beautiful job you did aquascaping it!

And I'm sure the cat appreciates all the effort you went to just to get him a new bed. :)

(Forgot to ask: It looks like you have two light fixtures on the tank, on on legs and the other resting on a glass lid? What kind of filtration and lighting are you using?)

Great job. The black background and gravel really go together.
What plant are those 2 bright green clumps??

Looks so good! Very visually pleasing. Very cute cat, too. I love seeing picture with them near tanks.

I am using an old standard light to get some extra light on the front of the tank. Just a standard 24" that was originally part of my 55 gal package. The small clumps are mini baby tears that I put in a couple weeks ago and are now starting to spread.

Filtration is a hodge podge. I have 3 filters so I can take off one if needed for a hospital tank. Left side has a AC20. Middle is a Penguin 100 and the left is a Whisper 20.

Thanks for the kind comments! :)

so whats the total amount of light you have??
I was at the store the other day and was thinking of getting the dwarf baby tears but guy said they need GREAT amount of light to grow.. How fast do they grow/spread?

BK. Not sure how fast they are supposed to spread. I have never managed to grow a lawn type plant to this point. I am hopeful with this bit though. I have a single fixture 6700k Coralife on the tank along with the 15w extra bit. (also 6700k) so in total 80w. I am hoping 4w a gal is going to be enough. Also running a 2litre bottle of DIY co2 with a Red Sea diffuser.

Are you dosing anything? flourish/dry ferts/tabs anything at all?

No tabs. Both dry and wet (seachem) ferts. There is also a very fine layer of peat moss under the Soilmaster substrate.
