it's tempting, unfortunately it's too large for me to carry by myself. I might be able to get it back here, but then I won't be able to move it around or clean it out very easily. still waiting to hear back from a friend about transport.

Man I haven't seen a tank like that since the early 70's when Dad and I set up our first FW tanks.. I'd snag it if I could...

well, I'm not going to be able to get it. it is next to the uhaul rental and storage location at 4th avenue and 6th street, in brooklyn ny. it is on 6th street, next to the side entrance. it's been inspected, needs cleaning but looks good. has a slate bottom.

here is a map of the location http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&q=11215&ie=UTF8&ll=40.672892,-73.988371&spn=0.010904,0.01399&z=16&om=0

My brother-in-law is giving me his old 60G tank. He's moving and doesn't want to set it back up again. (Had goldfish in it).
I'm thinking of turning it into an angelfish tank or I'll just make it an upgrade for my 10g planted N. American native fish tank.

There's one like that just around the corner from me, on the nature strip for the hard-rubbish-removal in the DRA (Designated Refuse Area)... I'll probably inspect it but I've got no use for it... it's a shame that when a free tank comes 'round you don't always have a use for it/can't make any room for it
