I'm so bored with TV right now. I guess the writer's strike must still be on, because the air time is filled with stupid reality programming.
The two shows that really bug me right now is Celebrity Rehab and Rock of Love.
First of all, I don't understand why these celebrities would allow themselves to be filmed in rehab and how that helps anyone.
Second, I've only seen small bits of Rock of Love while channel surfing, but I gather that this Bret guy is some sort of rock star and a bunch of women are competing for him. I never heard of him until this show, and I don't understand women wanting to compete for him unless maybe he's loaded. I think he's an ugly, skanky, gay-looking creep with dyed-blond hair and eye liner, and the whole "I'm so great you have to compete for me" thing is a big turn-off.
(I hope the forum rules don't apply to insulting someone not involved with this forum.)
At least Lost is coming back next week.

Interesting. I always thought tv was pretty good quality, if you knew were to look.
I recently discovered FX and cant get enough of it ever since.
You could always try foreign tv online. After finally getting to the point in my japanese studies where I could understand conversation, I cant get enough of japanese tv.

It just does not seem like Sunday with no football.
I have no clue what I am going to do after the superbowl.
I have a DVR, so there is always something good on TV.
Anyone ever watch Jereico? I know it is an older show, but I watched it for the first time, I thought it was a movie, but it is a series. It seemed like a good show. I will be recording it.

Not if the writers strike continues.. We'll be in the arena of constant re-runs and reality tv.. ugh.. ;)

Behind the Great Wall is on. Not a big fan of sitcoms and scripted shows. Besides House, The Office, and Its Always Sunny, just about everything I watch is on History, Discovery, A&E, and TechTV.
But I'm with John, between my DVR and all the shows I miss during the week, and Netflix, I never have enough time to watch it all.

Have you seen "How to Feel Good Naked"? I really enjoy it, even if it is reality!

Well, okay, not all reality programming is bad. I have been expanding my TV horizons and have been watching a lot of the medical mystery and other medical shows, a lot of stuff about obesity, diabetes, diet and exercise. This has inspired me to seriously consider getting a treadmill - something to do besides sitting on my butt in front of the TV anyway.
The History channel has some pretty good shows about stars, planets and the origins of the earth.

TV may be fun to watch sometimes, but it will rot your brain anyway.
Get a new hobby or another fish tank. Watch tv later.
