question on oscars

just picked up 2 oscars and they always seem hungry i usually only feed my fish once a day. should i feed them a few times a day or can i just once thanks..

Oscars will always beg for food. If they stop then worry about them. If they are small feeding twice a day is probably a good idea.

I always fed mine twice a day,morning and night..Oscars will always appear hungry. They dont miss any movement inside or out of there tank,there a (Wet Pet). They love people,dancing all over glass as you just peak into a room. There much more than a fish,you really interact with them as they grow..

Once or twice is fine...I tend to feed the juvies a lot....until about 10-12 months old...but I do a lot of water changes and vacs...

even oscars start out as babies. if they are under 3-4 inches, you should feed them small amounts a few times a day - just like any other young growing fish. once they get larger you can cut down the number of meals.

I don't think there is a way unless your oscars spawn-a case similar to angelfish and discus.
